Assistant Esports Coach, Part-Time, Non-Benefited PositionSummary of Position
Reporting to the Head Coach for Esports, the succesful candidate will assist with the administration and organization of this inagural program.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting in the development of players’ skills, strategies, and teamwork in Valorant; collaborating with the head coach to plan and conduct two team practices each week; analyzing gameplay footage to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback to players, as well as prepare for competition outside of practice; developing and implementing effective strategies for multiple in-game situations; providing emotional and strategic support to players, fostering a positive and competitive team culture; maintaining open and effective communication with players, coaching staff, and college administration via Email, Phone and Discord server; mandatory presence, remotely or physically, for two team practices each week, as well as weekly competitions against other collegiate institutions within NACE Starleague; represent Keene State College to the highest degree, both online and in-person, and maintain professionalism in all interactions with Keene State College students, staff and families as well as those from competing institutions.
